Woodland for life - In Action

Making a difference
The Regional Woodland Strategy is both a useful tool for focusing on challenges and a trigger for initiatives to tackle them. At present over 30 different teams, working either singly or in a variety of partner combinations, have almost 150 separate projects underway. All are to the benefit of the places and people of the East of England.

Six representative case studies illustrate achievements since 2003. Several of these reveal the ways in which individual initiatives contribute to more than one of the Strategy’s inter-related themes.

By highlighting the theme you are interested in on the right you can learn more about what has been undertaken and achieved.
